The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of status sassa clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The services level developed for intervention encounters a large influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
